Georgia to tackle problems of Armenian population

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met visiting Foreign Minister of Georgia Grigol Vashadze.



The two men discussed bilateral relations, specifically the tariffs for cargo transportation through Georgia and the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission.



Appreciating highly the centuries-old friendship between the nations, they also referred to the problems of the Armenian population in Georgia.



Representing Georgia's position on the Armenian-Turkish relations, Minister Vashadze underscored that opening of the border and normalization of relations between the neighboring states will be favorable for the entire region.



Anti-crisis measures taken by the Armenian and Georgian governments were also in focus.
