David Davtyan: opening of border Armenian diplomacy victory

PanARMENIAN.Net - It's hard to understand the goal of political forces which are discussing the Armenian-Turkish in panic, said David Davtyan, expert at ANALITIKA.at.ua center.

"Armenia a small country without its own resources. It's in blockade and engaged in disputes with neighbors," he told PanARMENIAN.Net "Georgia is unreliable transit country. Iran is a rogue state. Under the circumstances, it's at least unwisely to stipulate the nation remain in blockade."

"The protocols mention neither Armenian Genocide nor Karabakh issue. It will help Armenia reintegrate into the international market. Opening of the border is the victory of the Armenian diplomacy. It will offer the possibility to take care of historical heritage and restore toponymy," he said.

At that, Davtyan emphasized that no one renounces Armenian Genocide recognition policy. "Moreover, this possibility increases with each day of negotiations," he said.
