Eastern Partnership - multilateral forum for solving problems

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Eastern Partnership is a multilateral forum for exchanging views, solving problems and overcoming difficulties," John O'Rourke, Head of the European Neighborhood Policy general coordination unit in the European Commission's Directorate-General for External Relations, told reporters in Minsk on October 2.



He enumerated for 4 main platforms of cooperation: democracy and human rights, economic integration, energy security and person-to-person contacts.



The EU and the six former Soviet countries participating in the Eastern Partnership can meet the ambitious targets of the new program only on the basis of common values, BelaPAN quotes European Commission representative as saying.
