Cooperation between regions of Ukraine and Armenia promising

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan October 15 received the governor of the Kharkiv region of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and his delegation.



Welcoming the guests, the head of the Armenian government stressed that the visit of the Governor would contribute to deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation between Armenia and Ukraine. According to Arsen Avakov, there are good prospects for cooperation between Kharkov and Armenian regions of Shirak, Tavush and Vayots Dzor, particularly in the spheres of agriculture, winemaking and tourism.



The officials touched upon the fourth meeting of the Armenia-Ukraine intergovernmental commission on trade and economic issues, which will be held on October 16, as well as the prospects of cooperation in the spheres of education, science and energy, press office of the RA Government reports.
