Following the ceremony, the President noted that Armenia is an important partner to Italy, with RA-Italian friendship lasting for centuries. In his turn, Ruben Karapetian emphasized official Yerevan's readiness to rise bilateral relations to a new level and invited Giorgio Napolitano to visit Armenia. Ruben Karapetian briefed Italian president on recent developments in RA-Turkey rapprochement process and NKR conflict settlement..
