Armenian Genocide one of popular themes in Washington

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Genocide is the priority topic regarding Armenia discussed in Washington, said Emil Sanamian, editor of The Armenian Reporter weekly.



As to normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, he said, "Turkish lobby represents the interests of Turkish government. Armenian Americans speak out against protocols but for normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations and the U.S. administration with numerous trends."



"Turkey is positive about the protocols but it doesn't mean that it wants to normalize relations with Armenia," Sanamian said.
