Armenian church reconstructed in Chisinau

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian community of Chisinau sponsored reconstruction of an Armenian church in the center of the Moldovan capital.



"The church hasn't been functioning for 60 years," said Venera Gasparyan, the head of the Armenian community of Moldova.



She also informed that an Armenian cultural center was established near the church.



"We are concerned about the condition of our churches. Presently, two Armenian churches are functioning in the Moldovan capital but they are rarely attended," Ms. Gasparyan said.
