This year, the motion condemns denial of the 1915 Genocide of Armenians and Assyrians as well, and calls on parliamentarians to respect the day to ensure that the Holocaust and the 1915 Genocide are never forgotten.There is a real prospect of increasing the number of Members of Parliament who have recognized the Armenian Genocide substantially, from the 195 MPs who have done so in previous years.
