  Minister of Education honors renowned scholars with Gold Commemorative MedalDecember 22, 2009 - 21:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On Tuesday, December 22, Armenia's Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan awarded Gold Commemorative Medal to Professor, Doctor of Biology Armen Galoyan, chair of scientific council at RA NAS National Biochemistry Academy. Renowned scholar received the award on the occasion of his 80th jubilee, as well as for his great contribution to the sphere of education and science. Merited scholar, Doctor of History Ruben Mirzakhanyan, Dean of Faculty of Culture at Armenian State Teachers' Training University, also received the same award on the occasion of his 50th jubilee. «It's a great honor for me to bestow gold medal on outstanding scholars enjoying an international reputation,» Minister Ashotyan said during the ceremony.
