  Ara Simonyan wins election at 10th constituency, RA CEC saysJanuary 11, 2010 - 11:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to preliminary data provided by the RA Central Election Committee, National Unity member Ara Simonyan won the pre-term parliamentary elections at the 10th constituency, gaining 7622 votes.Other candidates - Davit Hakobyan (leader of Marxist Party of Armenia) and Nikol Pashinyan (editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper) - garnered 299 and 5023 votes respectively. The total number of voters made 13380. 438 ballots were announced invalid.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
