  Schiff, Hachikian to headline ANCA Tele-Townhall on Genocide resolution March 25, 2010 - 12:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Congressional Armenian Genocide Resolution author Adam Schiff (D-CA) will join ANCA Chairman Ken Hachikian for a nationally televised Townhall meeting on Sunday, March 28 to discuss ongoing efforts to secure the adoption of this genocide-prevention measure by the full U.S. House of Representatives."As a grassroots group devoted to empowering our community, we are truly excited to offer this opportunity for Armenian Americans to take part in this Sunday's live, televised Townhall meeting on the Armenian Genocide Resolution," said ANC-WR Chairwoman Aida Dimejian. The Armenian Genocide resolution The resolution affirming the U.S. record on the Armenian Genocide (H.Res.252) was formally introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Reps. Adam Schiff (D.-CA), George Radanovich (R.-CA), Frank Pallone, Jr. (D.-NJ), and Mark Kirk (R.-Ill). On March 4, 2010 it was adopted with a 22-21 vote by the House Committee on Foreign Relations.
