Great Patriotic War veterans to be refunded their lost depositsMarch 25, 2010 - 19:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In connection with the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War Armenian veterans will be paid compensation for their old deposits held until June 10, 1993 in the Savings Bank of the former USSR. The decision was made at the government meeting in Artashat (Ararat region). "This issue was discussed in detail at the Republican Party and all came to the conclusion that our moral duty is to give preference to veterans," Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan said.
