Eminent Austrian composer Ivan Erod to visit Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 7-16, Armenia will be hosting the 2nd Austro-Armenian Music Festival.

A varied program of concerts and master classes offered by outstanding professors and musicians from Austria, Armenia and Germany will be featured in the framework of festival in Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor.

Eminent Austrian composer Ivan Erod, German clarinetist Ralph Manno, Armenian pianist Armen Babakhanian, soprano Anna Maria Pammer, pianist Gottlieb Wallisch, composer John Sarkissian, violist Georg Hamann will participate in the festival.

Works of Schumann and Mozart, Ivan Erod and John Sarkissian will be performed.

The festival is organized under the patronage of Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan and Upper-Austria governor Dr. Joseph Puhringer.
