Armenia's CB reduces refinancing rate to 6.25 per centMay 22, 2009 - 22:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenia's Central Bank Council made a decision to reduce the refinancing interest rate by one percentage point to 6.25 per cent annually. As the CB official web-site reports, the Council of the Central Bank stated that current inflationary developments mainly correspond to the projected directions and will be maintained for the target period. The Central Bank Council believes, that the economic growth will be facilitated more efficiently by sharp weakening of money-and-credit conditions through reducing the refinancing interest rate.
