Armenian state budget revenues drop by 13.7 per cent in January-October 2009December 2, 2009 - 17:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In January-October 2009 Armenia's budget revenues reached AMD 539.3 billion, and expenses amounted to AMD 648.1 billion, ensuring 60.2 and 72.4 per cent performance respectively, RA Ministry of Finance reported. Compared with the same period of last year, the budget revenues decreased by 13.7 per cent or AMD 85.7 billion. In particular, taxes and duties reduced by 18.1 per cent (AMD 93.3 billion), state grants reduced by 15.9 per cent (AMD 568.9 million) and mandatory social payments decreased by 0.6 per cent (AMD 463.5 million). Other incomes increased by 37.8 per cent (AMD 8.7 billion). 78.1 per cent of budget revenues come from taxes and duties, 15.5 per cent is formed through mandatory social payments, 5.9 per cent - other income and 0.6 per cent - government grants. Over January-October 2009, taxes and duties reached AMD 421.3 billion, ensuring 57.7 per cent implementation of the annual program. Compared with the same period of 2008 tax revenues fell by 18.1 per cent. In January-October 2009 compared to the same period of 2008 budget expenditures increased by 5.6 per cent or AMD 34.4 billion.
