Opening of Armenian-Turkish border to spur agricultural exports from Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Opening of the Armenian-Turkish border will boost exports of some agricultural products, Gerasim Alaverdyan , the Minister of Agriculture of Armenia told a press conference on December 22 in Yerevan.



According to him, currently the Turkish market is studied, to organize efficient marketing of Armenian products. Opening of the border will significantly reduce transport costs, cutting the price cost of Armenian products and ensuring their competitiveness in the Turkish market, Gerasim Alaverdyan said.
