It will also allow to save electric power essential for water supply of territories where natural water flows do not reach,” he said. “The reservoir will offer a possibility to reduce the number of water intakes in Lake Sevan and prevent spring floods,” said Andranik Andreasyan, head of the state committee of water industry of Armenia.
