Preliminary purchase price per 1 kilo of grapes set at AMD 120August 30, 2010 - 14:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ministry of Agriculture has set the 2010 preliminary purchase price for grapes at AMD 120 per kilo. “This year, we’ve scheduled to buy 215 000 tons of grapes against last year’s 185 000. The preliminary price is set at AMD 120 per kilo, while Yerevan Brandy Company will be purchasing grapes at AMD 130 per kilo,” Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan told a news conference in Yerevan. Preliminary agreement, stipulating volume, terms and order of purchase, was achieved during a ministerial visit to the regions of Ararat and Armavir. Reporting on the debts of grape processing companies to suppliers, the Minister informed that 2 companies in Armavir region have fulfilled their liabilities in accordance to contracts signed earlier.
