CBA forecasts weakening of internal inflation pressureSeptember 7, 2010 - 19:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The refinancing rate was left unchanged (7.25%) during the September 7 board meeting of the Central Bank of Armenia. With 1,3% inflation reported in August 2010, the annual inflation rate grossed 9.6%, increasing by 1,8 points compared with last month’s results. According to the board report, increased inflation rate comes as a result of the price upsurge for bakery goods, vegetables and fruit on the world market. However, expert forecast gradual decrease of inflation rate, with continued weakening of internal inflation pressure. Inflation rate within 4±1,5% is envisaged by the budget.
