Total volume of Armenian banks’ credit investments gross AMD 812,9bln as of end of July

PanARMENIAN.Net - The total amount of credit investments of Armenia’s banks grossed AMD 812,9bln as of the end of July 2010, increasing by 1,9% (AMD 14,9 bln) compared with June. AMD 782,4 bln was provided to the country’s residents; AMD 30,4 bln was extended to non-residents, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia.

AMD loans totalled 44,9%, while foreign currency loans amounted to 55,1%.

Majority of loans (AMD 163,3 bln) were provided to trade enterprises, followed by industry loans (AMD 152,4 bln), consumer loans (AMD 143,3 bln), mortgage loans - AMD 85,1 bln and construction loans (AMD 63,3 bln). Besides, agricultural loans to the amount of AMD 51,5 bln, consumer service loans (AMD 35,2 bln), transport and communication loans (AMD 23,9 bln) were provided.
