Belarusian jewelers to arrive in Armenia to study under local diamond cuttersSeptember 28, 2010 - 15:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Agreements were reached between Armenia and Belarus with respect to cooperation in the jewelry field and diamond cutting. “Armenia has a great school of diamond cutting, thus our jewelers will arrive here to study under Armenian masters,” Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentin Chekanov said during the September 28 joint press conference with Armenian Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan in Yerevan. Chekanov added that an agreement to this end was reached during a recent visit of the Belarusian Minister of Finance and Acting Director of Kristal factory to Yerevan jewelry factory. According to Chekanov, mutual delivery of goods, as well as their export to other countries is also envisaged by the plan of further cooperation.
