Yerevan to host Armenia-UAE first business forum on November 3-4October 28, 2010 - 19:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Organization of the first Armenian-Arab business forum due November 3-4 in Yerevan was in the focus of a meeting in the office of Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan. Armenia’s Ambassador to the UAE, deputy ministers of foreign affairs and economy, leadership of the Armenian Development Agency, Armenia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia and businessmen of Armenia participated in the meeting. The forum is expected to bring together around 40 entrepreneurs from the UAE led by Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, the Minister of Foreign Trade for the United Arab Emirates, the press service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration reported. The forum is aimed at boosting the bilateral economic cooperation, revelation of new directions for cooperation and establishment of direct contacts between entrepreneurs. Large economic projects implemented and planned in Armenia will be presented to the Arab side during the event. Besides, the guests will visit Armenia’s regions to familiarize themselves with the country’s cultural, tourist and industrial potential.
