RA Deputy Prime Minister believes WB social programs are implemented successfullyMay 4, 2011 - 17:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received head of the World Bank’s team for the social investment project in Armenia Ivan Drabek, accompanied by representatives of the WB Yerevan office. Executive Director of the Social Investment Fund of Armenia Ashot Kirakosyan also participated in the meeting, during which the Third Additional Financing for the Third Social Investment Fund Project was discussed. The parties noted that the WB’s social programs are successfully implemented in Armenia and contribute to infrastructures development in regions. The Armenian government has already submitted an application to the WB to continue the project, and currently mechanisms of financing are discussed.
