PanARMENIAN.Net - No gas price increase is envisaged in Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister stated.

As Tigran Sargsyan told a parliament-hosted news conference, “gas tariffs in Armenia will remain unchanged. The President has already made a statement on the issue. Moreover, the gas price was decreased by AMD 32 for vulnerable sections of the population.”

As the Prime Minister noted, the final tariffs for Russian gas will be specified after completion of negotiations between Armenian and Russian parties.

At present, Armenia pays USD 180 per 1000 cubic meters of Russian gas.
