Armenian President: tax evasion unacceptable

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said the country has human capital and unused resources to stimulate local production.

If someone has sound goals, currently he has no right to be confine himself only to import, what is the easiest way and becomes a common phenomenon, Sargsyan told the 4th congress of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Armenian leader attached importance to increasing responsibility of entrepreneurs for tax evasion.

Thorough consideration of tax evasion schemes by entrepreneurs is unacceptable, Sargsyan said, adding that a similar behavior of large business entities is especially strange, since they have considerable advantages due to their sizes and turnover.
