According to the National Statistical Service, 1.5% growth was recorded in milk production during the reported period, bringing it to 77.9mln liters. Curds production increased by 0.2%, totaling 234t. Production of yoghurt, mayonnaise, matsoun and kefir increased by 111.3%, 61.2%, 1.1% and 2.5% (180.2, 24.5, 988.3 and 72.9 tons) respectively in January-April 2011, while sour cream production dropped by 14.5% (860t).
