99.5thous. tons of bread produced in Armenia in January-April 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bread production in Armenia totaled 99.5thous. tons in January-April 2011, remaining unchanged as compared with the same period in 2010.

At the same time, flour production increased by 8.5%, amounting to 49.1thous. tons, while confectionery production amounted to 3,517 tons that is 8.8% higher compared to January-April 2010, the RA National Statistical Service reported.

Production of macaroni products increased by 37.3%, reaching 1,131.8 tons in January-April 2011. During the same period, cereal production grew by 2.9 times, amounting to 228 tons.
