Armenia EXPO 2011 to display local manufacturers’ 20-year achievements

PanARMENIAN.Net - The opening ceremony of Armenia EXPO 2011 11th regional universal trade and industrial expo-forum took place in Yerevan on September 9.

The event was attended by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan.

The forum hosted by Karen Demirchyan Sport and Concert complex will last till September 11. The organizer of the event is LOGOS EXPO Center and Union of Manufacturers & Businessmen of Armenia.

“The exhibition is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence. It is called to conclude the achievements, particularly in the field of local production, and the indices of our businessmen,” Arsen Ghazaryan, President of Union of Manufacturers & Businessmen of Armenia said.

According to him Armenia EXPO 2011 testifies to the fact that economic crisis is behind now, with Armenia taking the course of sustainable development.

More than 180 local and foreign organizations, companies and associations from 14 counties participate in the event.

The forum envisages exhibitions in the following sectors: “Industrial Armenia EXPO 2011,” “Build EXPO 2011,” “Food and drinks EXPO 2011,” “Trans EXPO 2011,” “Comp EXPO 2011,” “Polygraphy, Publishing, Advertising Expo 2011,” “Furniture Salon Expo 2011,” “Finance Credit Insurance & Audit Expo 2011” and “Rest and Entertainment EXPO 2011.”

The main goals of the forum are: searching new markets and business partners, attracting foreign investments in the Armenian economy, demonstration of the economic potential.

After the closure of the exhibition, a catalogue in Russian and Armenian will be published and circulated in more than 50 countries.
