ICT Development and Cyber Security Event GITI 2010 launched in GeorgiaNovember 10, 2010 - 17:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The ICT Business Council of Georgia and LEPL Data Exchange Agency of Ministry of Justice of Georgia, with the support of NATO-Georgia Professional Development Program, Trustcorp (Estonia) and U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi have launched the 3rd regional GITI 2010 event (Conference, Exhibition & Award) in Tbilisi, Georgia. The main goal of the event is to establish and promote effective partnerships among the public and the private sectors, associations and other IT&T industry related organizations in the Central and East Europe, Baltic States, Caucasus and Middle Asia region to promote competitiveness, innovation and security. As the UITE (Union of IT Enterprises) spokesperson Ruzanna Apresyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, among companies representing Armenia at the conference are Adbook, Idram, Essential Solutions, LimeTech, X-Tech. The number of Armenian companies participating in the event increases year by year. 4 of them received awards in 2009. 24 companies are representing Armenia in 2010.
