Armenia to set up young scientists’ school

Armenian branch of International scientific–technical center will set up young scientists’ school in 2012.

Hamlet Navasardyan, director of the Armenian branch of International scientific–technical center told journalists the school will launch in Tsaghkadzor this July.

“It aims to support young scientists in presenting their works to society and putting them into practice. Relevant jury will select winner projects to be implemented in future,” he stated.

Armenian branch chief said young people will take training courses in school on presentation of their works, protection of their intellectual property, proposal writing, business plan development, etc.

Speaking about the center’s activities, Navasardyan said they provide distance (online) learning as well. Trainings will comprise business communication, presentation skills, basics of business administration, business plan development and other topics.

Director of the Armenian branch told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that applicants for online training should address them to get details of relevant server and take the course independently.

“All courses are organized in Russian language and are free of charge. We also organize online trainings with invited experts,” he said.
