AZERI POLITICAL SCIENTIST ACCUSES RUSSIA OF DISRUPTING KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri political scientist, Heydar Aliyev's ex-advisor for political issues Vafa Guguladze agrees with Ilham Aliyev's statement that the negotiation process on the Karabakh settlement has reached a deadlock. As he told Zerkalo Baku newspaper, the OSCE Minsk Group will hardly make any proposal favorable for the Azeri party at present. In his words, the attempt to settle the problem by means of compromises was undertaken by Heydar Aliyev. "However this attempt was foiled due to disruptive position of Russia, though, I should confess, I myself was against such kind of settlement", the political scientist said.
