Expert: Armenia doesn’t yield to Azerbaijan with arms

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia doesn’t yield to Azerbaijan with its arms, even surpasses it with certain types of armament, according to Armenian military expert.

As Artsrun Hovhannisyan told a press conference, the arms Azerbaijan recently purchased from Israel are not effective in Nagorno Karabakh.

“The drones Azerbaijan purchased from Israel possess no combat power, with no chance to transform them into attack aircrafts,” the expert said.

The arms deal between Israel and Azerbaijan is estimated at USD 1,6 bln. Gabriel anti-ship missiles, five Heron and five Searcher UAVs were among the arms Azerbaijan ordered.
