RPA vice-chair: “April 1” month follows women’s month

PanARMENIAN.Net - “April 1 month” followed the women’s month (March 8-April 7), deputy chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) said commenting on the pre-election pledges by various parties.

Dwelling on RPA coalition parties’ statements, Galust Sahakyan noted that all the drawbacks in government operation are attributed to RPA. He urged coalition partners to follow his party’s suit which never feared to assume responsibility for the situation in the country.

ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Artsvik Minasyan in turn said that all parties except for his, preferred to issue solely general statements.

Parliamentary elections, due in Armenia on May 6, feature 8 political parties, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
