Prosperous Armenia leader’s declares huge income, paper saysApril 18, 2012 - 11:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Income of the Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan over the past year amounted to AMD 21433 mln, USD 60mln and EURO 40 mln, Haykakan Zhamanak daily says quoting the data provided by the party chairman to Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission in his property and income declaration. According to the paper, the coalition leader claimed three diamond rings worth USD 3mln, USD 1 mln and USD 700000, and three hand watches, one costing USD 300000 and the other two USD 500000 each. As of March 1, 2012, his bank accounts totaled to AMD 1161 mln, USD 30730000, and EURO 20483000. Tsarukyan’s property declaration also included his expensive furniture costing EURO 800000 in total. Prosperous Armenia leader holds shares in 32 different companies. The total area of his facilities makes approximately 9000 sq.m., and the land plots he owns account for about 32 hectares. He owns 7 cars, the recent purchase being the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé in 2008.
