Prosperous Armenia strikes deal with farmers - paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - Zhoghovurd paper quotes its sources as saying that Prosperous Armenia devised a new method of gaining votes in Armenian Ararat and Armavir provinces.

“Noy” vodka, wine and brandy factory belonging to Prosperous Armenia’s leader Gagik Tsarukyan signed an agreement with farmers in these provinces on purchase of grapes in autumn.

In addition, people were warned that the deal will be cancelled if they do not vote for this party, paper says.

When representatives of other parties asked the farmers to vote for them during their campaign meetings, people said they have already signed agreement with Prosperous Armenia, Zhoghovurd reports.

Prosperous Armenia’s MP Naira Zohrabyan refuted the rumors saying this is nonsense.
