NA vice speaker urges inter-party headquarters to prove election frauds

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vice speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia commented on the statements of the representatives of the inter-party anti-forgery headquarters on numerous violations by the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and the authorities.

“All these concerns and comments issued without any proof are misinformation,” Eduard Sharmazanov told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

He urged the inter-party representatives to prove the alleged violation facts.

Mr. Sharmazanov stressed that the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the law enforcement agencies provided proper response to all the statements on violations, adding that the latter were committed by inter-party members rather than RPA.

“Regardless of the election outcomes, I congratulate Armenians on another step towards reinforcing democratic values,” NA vice speaker said.

He further noted that the election campaign was conducted in the atmosphere of publicity and transparency due to mass media and the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
