PACE CO-RAPPORTEURS ON ARMENIA TO ARRIVE IN YEREVAN MID-JUNE

PanARMENIAN.Net - The experts of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Irzhi Yaskenya and Rene Andre, who will submit the report on Armenia to the PACE June session, are expected to arrive in Yerevan June 14, I. Yaskenya, who is in Armenia on the invitation of chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Artur Baghdasarian on occasion of the presentation of the Armenian translation of his book titled "The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe", told journalists today. As Yaskernya reported, during a 3-day monitoring in Armenia they are to meet with the leadership, representatives of the opposition and public organization in order "to submit to PACE an impartial and balanced report". The rapporteurs are also going to meet with the representatives of the Armenian Constitutional Court to clarify the issue regarding the CC April 2003 resolution on the "referendum on confidence to the Armenian President".
