ARMENIA INTERESTED IN STRENGTHENING COOPERATION WITH CRIMEA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is interested in strengthening the cooperation with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine Armen Khachatrian stated at a meeting with Chairman of the Crimean Parliament Boris Deich July 12. The parties stressed the importance of the participation of Armenia and Crimea in the Great Silk Way interregional cultural and economic program of promotion of ties between the two republics. As reported by LigaBusinessInform Ukrainian news agency, the Armenian Ambassador thanked B. Deich for contribution to solving social and cultural problems of the Crimean Armenians, who number over 5 thousand. The parties also discussed the issue of restoration of the museum house of great composer Alexander Spendiarov (Spendiarian) in Yalta.
