HEAD OF US SENATE NATO COMMITTEE TO VISIT KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of Transitive Democracies project and Chief of the NATO Committee in the US Senate Bruce Jackson will arrive in Nagorno Karabakh this week-end, he announced in the South Ossetian capital of Tskhinvali yesterday. Before that Jackson was in Transdnestria and Abkhazia along with the delegation headed by him that included director of the German section of the US Marshal Fund Daniel Twining, President of Orion Strategies institute and member of Transitive Democracies project Randy Scheunemann, representative of the Center for Euro-Atlanticism and Democracy Istvan Diarmati and editor of Economist European journal Robert Cotrell. In the course of the visit to Tskhinvali Bruce Jackson said "the authorities of South Ossetia are not able to provide for the future of their people," which caused indignation of the South Abkhazian leadership.
