SECOND PAN-ARMENIAN YOUTH FORUM HELD IN TSAGHKADZORJuly 26, 2004 - 19:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Second Pan-Armenian Youth Forum with the participation of over 100 boys and girls from 17 countries opened in the Armenian town of Tsaghkadzor on July 24. Armenian President Robert Kocharian sent a greeting message to the forum participants. When addressing the opening ceremony Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian noted that the measure initiators - Pan-Armenian International Youth Center" and the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs - are working for establishing ties between the growing generation of the Armenian Diaspora with the youth organizations of Armenia and ensuring their participation in the pan-Armenian projects implemented by the government. Meeting with Armenian FM Vardan Oskanian has been also scheduled. At the moment the forum participants are discussing three major topics, these being "Culture and Armenian Originality", "Youth and Urgent National Issues", "Diaspora and Globalization". Future plans such as organizations of measures dedicated to the 90-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey and business forum with the participation of Armenian entrepreneurs from different countries of the world will be as well being considered.
