In his words, after the completion of the visit, implementation of the agreements made both in the course of M. Khatami's present visit to Armenia and R. Kocharian's visit to Iran will begin. A. Margarian also reported that just before the Iranian leader's departure a memorandum on transport cooperation was signed.Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
