CHINA READY TO PARTICIPATE IN DEVELOPMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE OF ARMENIA, CHINESE PREMIER SAID

PanARMENIAN.Net - China is ready to participate in development of the infrastructure of Armenia, especially in transport and energy. Premier of the People's Republic of China State Council Wen Jiabao stated it at a meeting with Armenian President Robert Kocharian, who is in Beijing on a state visit. He called Armenia "a reliable partner of China" in the South Caucasian region. It was noted that Yerevan and Beijing will cooperate in agriculture, winemaking, tractor production and tourism. W. Jiabao considered arrangement of joint production of synthetic rubber in China on the basis of Nairit Yerevan plant equipment and technology an important aspect of cooperation. In the course of the meeting questions of military engineering cooperation were also raised. It should be noted that R. Kocharian discussed prospects of interparliamentary cooperation with Chairman of the All-Chinese Assembly of People's Representatives U Bango.
