ARMENIAN MINISTER OF FINANCE AND ECONOMY TO PARTICIPATE IN IMF AND WB ANNUAL FORUMS OCTOBER 2-5

PanARMENIAN.Net - Three important events will be held in Washington October 2-5. These are the meeting of the Armenian-American group for economic cooperation, annual forums of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. The Armenian delegation headed by Minister of Economy and Finance Vardan Khachatrian will take part in all these measures. Among other questions the participants of the IMF and WB conferences will discuss the works carried out by these organizations in Armenia, mechanisms of increasing their efficiency and forthcoming measures. The Armenian-American working group is expected to consider various issues of economic cooperation on October 4. The next day the Armenian delegation is scheduled to hold a meeting with the representatives of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, during which V. Khachatrian will submit proposals and projects Armenia offers to include in the program for struggle against the challenges.
