Iran, Turkey discuss joint industrial town construction![]() June 29, 2012 - 13:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran and Turkey have discussed details of a plan to set up a joint industrial town on the borderline between the two neighbors in a recent meeting of the delegations of the two countries, Press TV reports. The plan was on the agenda of the talks between the Iranian delegation headed by Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou and the Turkish team. Turkey's Trade and Industry Minister Nihat Ergun told reporters that ‘important measures’ have been already taken in this regard, including certain agreements on the location of the town, with the final decisions will be announced within the next few days. Ergun said that the two delegations also discussed the implementation of the already signed agreements and the development of ties in economic and trade sectors. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
