ARMENIAN-CHINESE RELATIONS IN PROGRESS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian received delegation of the People's Republic of China headed by Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing. As Li Zhaoxing stated, the Chinese leadership attaches great importance to the cooperation with friendly Armenia and highly appreciates Armenian President's contribution to the development of the Armenian-Chinese relations, press service of the RA President reported. The Chinese party also gave a high estimate to Robert Kocharian's recent visit to China from the aspect of further development of bilateral cooperation. In his turn, the Armenian leader noted that the Armenian-Chinese relations based on a high level of political dialogue and mutual understanding are progressing today especially in the fields referring to social-political, economic and cultural life. According to R. Kocharian, Armenia and China are cooperating on a wide range of issues and with almost similar stand on many international matters, they have no political problems. Noting that the trade-economic cooperation is an important constituent and the priority direction of the bilateral relations, the parties discussed the agreements achieved during Armenian President's visit to China and the ways of their implementation.
