Armenian Industrial Council to discuss five sectors’ development strategyJuly 23, 2012 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - About 4-5 programs to be implemented by ad hoc Councils have been confirmed in the framework of strategies of export-oriented industrial policy, Armenian Minister of Economy said. According to Tigran Davtyan, the strategies target the fields of brandy and wine-making, pharmaceutics, precision engineering and jewelry industry, with light industry sector being considered. In this context, Minister Davtyan noted that strategic documents will be discussed at the upcoming meeting of the industrial Council and Prime Minister Sargsyan. “RA Economy Ministry hosted meetings of councils on separate fields, with common approaches to these strategies having been developed,” he said.
