CONSTRUCTION OF IRAN-ARMENIA GAS PIPELINE TO START NO SOONER THAN DECEMBER

PanARMENIAN.Net - As reported by the Ministry of Energy of Armenia, the building of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline will begin no sooner than December 2004. Earlier it was reported that the preparation works on the project are not completed yet, thus the beginning of the construction works is put off from October to November.

Last week Gazprom Russian company suggested its participation in the building of the Armenian segment of the pipeline. However the Armenian Ministry of Energy responded that SANIR Iranian company will build the segment.
