ARMENIA WINE company wins silver at France’s Muscats du Monde contestJuly 28, 2012 - 19:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ARMENIA WINE company won a silver medal at annual Muscats du Monde wine competition held in France’s Languedoc Roussillon Region in July 2012. “The victory in this key contest is essential in boosting international awareness of Armenian wines,” ARMENIA WINE general consultant Jean-Baptiste Soulat said in Yerevan. “Armenia has every chance to be represented at international wines market, with the country meeting the 4 key requirements: the climate, soil, grape quality and human factor,” he said. The company director Artur Harutyunyan, in turn, noted that a governmental council was already formed to promote Armenian wines and implement wine-making development strategies. Muscats du Monde competition featured 232 sorts of wine from 24 countries worldwide including France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Brazil.
