ARMENIAN PEACEKEEPERS TO LEAVE FOR IRAQ JANUARY 18

PanARMENIAN.Net - A group of 46 Armenian specialists are to depart for Iraq on January 18 for a term of 6 months. As press secretary of the Armenian defense Ministry Armen Shahsuvarian stated, 30 drivers, 10 combat engineers and 3 medical officers will depart for Iraq under the command of an officer from the Polish division. To remind, at the closed special session on December 24, 2004, the Armenian parliament approved the sending of the Armenian contingent in Iraq.
