VANDALS TOPPLED DOWN MONUMENT TO HOLOCAUST VICTIMS IN YEREVANFebruary 11, 2005 - 17:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - This morning the monument to the Holocaust victims erected in the center of Yerevan was found toppled, Arminfo agency reports. To all appearances, the act of vandalism took place last night. Taking into account the heaviness of the monument one can hardly suppose that the granite fell by itself. However the park workman said he did not notice anything. The policemen are investigating the incident. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
